Bull Terrier attacks can have many different causes. This may be due to an unstable domain-related relationship between you and your beloved Bull Terrier. It can also be an impulse or trigger that was not properly treated when your Bull Terrier was a puppy. Maybe another puppy or dog attacked your construction at a young age. Regardless of the cause of the aggression, you must face the problem and help your pet find a solution to his aggression. Leaving aggression against your non-branded pet can lead to frightening and dangerous situations for you and anyone else entering your home if the situation gets worse. This is especially true when there are small children.
The origin of the aggression of small dogs
The aggressive behavior of small dogs can start at the age of 6 weeks. In this important age of your puppy, your dog should interact with other puppies as well as with people who play a fundamental role in your dog's life. Your Terrier puppy should also be trained and instructed so that he does not bite other puppies, dogs and humans. This level of socialization should be encouraged and maintained until your construction is at least 14 weeks old, preferably several weeks longer. You will find that the better your dog knows how to handle other dogs properly, the risk of aggression in dogs is kept to a minimum.
We must therefore pay attention to certain essential points. For starters, you should not remove a Terrier puppy from its litter until it is at least 8 weeks old. The berth offers a natural social environment that your construction can interact with. If your Bull Terrier is between 8 and 10 weeks old, you should not severely punish or yell at your Terrier puppy. You have to treat her carefully. Otherwise, if you scream at this important age and beat your dog, your dog may develop aggressive behaviors and patterns.
Your Bull Terrier should be socialized with other dogs and small groups of people at the age of 14 weeks to avoid the future aggression problems of small dogs.
The root cause of aggression in burrows can be due to a variety of factors. The exact breed of dog, the race of the parents and the genetics could certainly play a role. While some dog breeds, especially bull terriers, are more susceptible to aggressive behavior than others, in reality this is not as hard and fast a rule as some people mistakenly believe.
In addition, caves that have not been sterilized or sterilized are more prone to aggressive tendencies.
The main reason for an aggressive behavior of a dog is undoubtedly the environment in which it is located. A bull terrier with poor living conditions, heavy and extremely harsh owners, lack of socialization and / or fear and / or being attacked / bitten by other dogs is more likely to become more and more aggressive as he grows up.
The aggression of a bull terrier may be due to the need to establish a hierarchical order in a package to show who is who. It's a physical and psychological thing that dogs, especially bull terriers, have used over the years to get what they want. If your bull terrier lights up, bites or growls, your build is likely to test the water to see how it can escape and what it can take on. You need to be firm (not hard) and gain control of your dog from an early age and keep it in place during his youth to make sure he does not press and take control of his home. It is much easier than trying to regain control of your burrow once you have conquered and established the status of the chief.
To stop and control the aggressive behavior of your bull terrier
At 14 months, your building has reached sexual maturity. If your construction behaves aggressively after that time, you need to act quickly. I will repeat this point because I think it is very important that you maintain and maintain the status of the package leader at home. Dogs respond to people who show the status and behavior of the pack leader. Her brain is literally connected to the leader of the pack.
Another important thing to keep in mind is never to reward your dog for his aggressive behavior. This will only begin with a pattern in which they look for the same aggressive or new behaviors, in the hope of being appreciated or treated.
Would you like to know how to achieve and maintain the status of a pack leader in the house? Take control of different aspects of the life of your Bull Terrier. Control the eating and walking times. Train your construction to answer your orders. If you let the dog out if he wants, he'll start believing that he has control and is more aggressive towards others. Basically, they will consider it their right if they believe they are the leaders of the house.
There are bull terriers who become aggressive when they become defensive. Sometimes it is true that they are really scared and aggressive. It's a way to control others to reduce this fear. The probabilities are that the caves that show this behavior have not been properly socialized. At this point, it would be desirable to keep them out of the zone with young children, as they might see them as a threat. I would recommend attending a training session or bringing it to a trainer who can help you adapt to social conditions.
Although the aggression of small dogs is a big problem for many dog owners, you should know that this is a problem that provides a solution and that in most cases the aggressive behavior of the bull terrier can be corrected even in dogs. old. If the aggression increases the violence and the physical damage, I would recommend calling a specialist who can intervene quickly and correct this bad behavior of the dog before someone gets hurt. In this case, you and your dog can be held responsible.
